Florida in our own backyard...Well not really our backyard, but close. Today we went the the zoo. This is usually a weekly field trip for the boys and myself. Today we took aunt Jo Jo and baby Reese with us. We have never really taken the path that leads us to the flamingos and Zebras. But today that's where Isaac wanted to go. It was a nice breezy day, great relief from the blazing hot sun and no breeze that we have become accustomed to. I really enjoy seeing things through a child's eyes and I am really thankful for God blessing me with two beautiful little boys to love and teach.

This week has been lots of fun. Daddy was home for the whole week and we got to see lots of fun things. We saw the elephants get a bath, took a ride in a bike trailer along the river, rode a paddle boat (above pics), went swimming, fed some ducks and lots more. The boys are getting so big and doing so many new things. Potty training for Isaac, rolling over and over and over and trying to crawl, eating new foods like peas and cheese for Eli. 8 months goes sooo quickly I can't believe it. It is nice to spend quality time with family and friends. We have done a lot of that in the last few days.
